Inspired by the view from Montjuïc across Barcelona to the Mediterranean, "The Bunker to the Sea" compresses the city, coastline and distant water into layered fields of colour. The elevated perspective allows the urban landscape to soften into abstraction, capturing the feeling of looking beyond the city toward the open sea.
